WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia this weekend for the King and Queen of the Ring finals.
The legendary tournaments are back – albeit with claims of a curse – with previous winners including the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, Zelina Vega and William Regal.
This weekend, two more superstars will wear the crowns, while there could be new champions with three of WWE’s top prizes up for grabs as Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch and Sami Zayn all face some tough challenges.
Fans weren’t best pleased when Logan’s match was announced, but viewers will be intrigued to see how he matches up to the American Nightmare.
This weekend’s show – which will also see SmackDown broadcast live from Saudi Arabia for the first time – comes amid a run of premium live events outside the United States.
It’s now time to crown a King and Queen of the Ring, so here is everything you need to know.
When is WWE King and Queen of the Ring?
WWE King and Queen of the Ring airs Saturday, May 25 with the premium live event kicking off at 6pm for fans watching in the UK.
How can you watch WWE King and Queen of the Ring?
As ever, the usual Kickoff preview show – which is available to stream via the WWE Network, as well as WWE.com, the WWE app, X, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch – will start an hour before the main show. So, that’s 5pm.
UK fans will then be able to tune into the main King and Queen of the Ring event either live or on demand via the WWE Network, or by ordering the show on TNT Sports Box Office.
Of course, that will change in the New Year with WWE’s content set to move to Netflix in January 2025 as part of a huge $5 billion deal.

WWE superstar GUNTHER wants to forge his own path as King of the Ring
GUNTHER is, er, gunning to take the King of the Ring crown this weekend, after dominating the Raw side of the bracket with wins over Sheamus, Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso.
On Saturday, the Ring General has the chance to follow in the footsteps of legends like Harley Race, Booker T, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and more, and he’s excited to leave his mark.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Obviously, watching the King of the Ring tournament when I was younger, throughout the years, it’s a privilege to be part of that.’
And while many former King of the Ring winners have adopted the crown as part of their persona over the following months, the Austrian wrestler hasn’t decided what he’ll do if he triumphs.
‘I will see because I am who I am. And the King of the Ring is a trophy, it’s a prize I can win. I think that’s what it is,’ he said.
‘It’s like, it’s not gonna change fundamentally who I am or how I am, or how I present myself on the screen.’
WWE King and Queen of the Ring predictions
When it comes to the King of the Ring, it’s an incredibly tough one to call, although GUNTHER should be the favourite heading in.
The longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time is ready to take things to the next level, and the winners getting a championship match at SummerSlam is the perfect way to do that.
A lot rides on whether or not he’s facing Randy Orton or newcomer Tama Tonga in the final, but a win over the Apex Predator would set the Ring General on the right path.
For the Queen of the Ring, rising star Lyra Valkyria is already building up a great rapport with fans, and a win over either Nia Jax or Bianca Belair would be a surefire way to make an instant star.
Logan Paul won’t be beating Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship, but he will put on a fantastic match with the American Nightmare, while Liv Morgan should beat Becky Lynch to continue her Revenge Tour.
When it comes to the Intercontinental Title, Sami Zayn should escape with the gold, but there are definitely arguments to be made for Chad Gable to get the job done – although SummerSlam might be a better time for that.
