An aggressive American Airlines passenger was put in a headlock and dragged out of a plane by a fellow flyer after yelling antisemitic slurs.
The man is said to have caused a 30-minute delay, after directing an offensive remark at a flight attendant and appearing to threaten another passenger.
He was then forcibly removed from the flight, which was set to fly from Tampa to Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Footage of the altercation was posted on X, showing how the incident unfolded in the moments leading up to his removal from the aircraft.
The unknown man, who is wearing white and blue button-down shirt, can be seen standing in the middle of the aisle before shouting ‘I will universally, publicly, mess you up.’
He continues: ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s OK raising my voice to a female? I’ll see about it with you k***,’ he says.
The flight attendant looks back at him and says, ‘What?’
To the dismay of other passengers, the man doubles down on and says, ‘You as a k*** human.’
Seconds later, he turns to a female onboard and says, ‘I’m moving, I’m moving, and you know what? You’re teaming up. Do you see how most of the people are white here? Yeah, yeah so you were like “ahhhhh.”‘
In the third part of the video, the man is confronted by another male passenger, a man in his 50s wearing a dark black hoodie and a baseball cap.
‘Let me see you up front, cuz,’ the passenger says.
‘Come to the front cuz,’ the man in the hat replies, as he directs him out of his seat.
The female employee can be seen talking into out a walkie-talkie as the two men start to shove each other in the middle of the aisle.
Shortly after, the man in the hat, who can be heard saying he is a policeman, takes the rowdy passenger and puts him in a headlock before escorting him off the plane.
In a statement, American Airline told DailyMail.com: ‘Prior to departure of American Airlines flight 2506 with service from Tampa (TPA) to Philadelphia (PHL), law enforcement was requested to the aircraft due to a disturbance in the cabin involving a disruptive customer.
‘We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.’
