The family of a man who won a $1.35billion jackpot is suing him, claiming he broke his promise to share the winnings.
An unidentified man bought the winning Mega Millions jackpot ticket in Lebanon, Maine, on January 13 of last year. It was one of the largest lottery jackpots in US history.
The man promised to share, including by opening a million-dollar trust fund and paying for his father’s medical expenses, according to the family’s lawsuit
He allegedly accused his daughter’s mother of violating her non-disclosure agreement by telling the rest of his family of his lottery win before their daughter turns 18 years old in 2023.
The man has been in a legal fight with the woman since November.
