Letterkenny may have officially wrapped up, but at least, Shoresy season 3’s release date is near. It has been a while since the Jared Keeso-created sitcom wrapped up after 12 seasons. Originally airing on Crave, people from outside of Canada were introduced to the titular rural community in Ontario, and the people that inhabited it via its availability on Hulu. Critically-acclaimed and a massive commercial success, it was sad to see such an entertaining comedy go. Luckily, its universe thrives with its spinoff show, Shoresy continuing.

Announced through a new teaser, Shoresy season 3 is confirmed to premiere on May 24th on Crave, and around a month later on June 21, it will begin streaming on Hulu. Check out the clip before from Letterkenny‘s official YouTube channel.

The first Shoresy season 3 trailer shows Shoresy and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs walking down the tunnel and into the ice for a new game. As expected, however, the team’s Captain gets in on the trash-talking early on, particularly targeting an opponent because he is wearing number 98. During his chirping, Shoresy name-drops Connor Bedard and Wayne Gretzky.

What To Expect From Shoresy Season 3

Shoresy’s Not Letting Up With The Chirps, Eh?

Letterkenny was known for its quips. The show’s dialog was one of the things that made it so hilarious. Shoresy is continuing that tradition, with the aforementioned clip highlighting the spinoff’s own fun banter, which fits well within the world of hockey competition. After turning things around for the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, Shoresy leads the team to a new and much bigger arena, as they continue their quest for greatness. Of course, his leadership comes with all of his oddities, adding a layer of comedy to the series.

In the much-anticipated Shoresy season 3, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs finally enters the National Senior Tournament. After concentrating on just keeping the team going and, subsequently, making a name for themselves locally, the boys are set to face off against teams from across Canada. This comes with a whole host of challenges since they are entering a brand-new territory. Currently, Shoresy and his boys are confirmed to face off with the Charlottetown Reds, Brooks Barrelmen, and Vaughan Canadesi, as well as another match with SOO Hunt.

10 Letterkenny Characters We Want To See In Shoresy Season 3

Though Shoresy is a spin-off all its own, there are still plenty of Letterkenny characters who would make great additions to the series.

Aside from the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs’ quest, there are also several other lingering questions left for Shoresy season 3 to answer. A big one revolved around Shoresy’s personal life. After finally getting invited back to Laura’s house, Shoresy surprisingly turned down her advances, explaining that he wanted to make sure that he was focused on his upcoming big game. The pair’s fate was left in limbo in Shoresy season 2, so it’s curious if they will finally be official.
