Saweetie responds to the Quavo-Chris Brown beef by sharing a DM from Quavo, further entangling herself in the ongoing feud.

The ongoing feud between Chris Brown and Quavo took another turn when Saweetie, the former girlfriend of Quavo, shared a direct message (DM) from the Migos rapper following Brown’s diss track aimed at both of them. In a series of events unfolding on social media, Saweetie fired back at her ex, shedding light on their past communication.

On April 22, Quavo responded to Brown’s diss track “Weakest Link” with his own fiery track titled “Over Hoes & B#tches.” In the song, Quavo referred to Brown as the “crackhead Michael Jackson,” while Brown claimed he had been intimate with Saweetie while she was still in a relationship with Quavo.

Saweetie wasted no time in responding to Quavo’s lyrics. Taking to social media just hours after the release of “Over Hoes & B#tches,” she posted a screenshot of an unread DM from Quavo dating back to January 2014. The message began with “Damn. We used to mean af to eac…,” directly referencing Quavo’s lyrics in the song.

In her caption accompanying the screenshot, Saweetie sarcastically remarked, “hopefully the model he turns into me replies.” Despite Quavo’s message being from 2014, the former couple had split in March 2021. Interestingly, Quavo’s message arrived shortly before rumors emerged of Saweetie’s split from her brief relationship with YG.

Chris Brown also weighed in on Quavo’s diss track, expressing his lack of enthusiasm for the song. He took to his Instagram Story to dismiss the track, stating, “Google raps. That s### is poooooooh,” accompanied by crying-with-laughter emojis. Brown indicated that he felt no need to respond further, suggesting that the lyrical warfare might come to an end.

Additionally, Brown reiterated his disdain for Quavo’s rap skills, mentioning the late Takeoff again and suggesting that fans wished it was Quavo who had passed away instead of Takeoff. He concluded his post by stating, “Takeoff rap better.”

As the feud between Brown and Quavo continues to unfold on social media, Saweetie’s revelation adds another layer to the ongoing drama, providing insight into her past interactions with Quavo amidst the publicized disputes between the two rap stars.
