Christine Quinn’s husband, Christian Dumontet, has requested a restraining order against her over fears she could ‘abduct’ their son, it has been claimed.

The pair tied the knot at the end of 2019 and their wedding was captured on the second season of Selling Sunset.

They went on to welcome their first child, Christian George, in 2021.

Last week, the businessman, sometimes known as Christian Richard, was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon following a domestic dispute at their home in LA, after which their son was taken in for treatment.

The 45-year-old is alleged to have thrown ‘a bag with glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury’.

Metro.co.uk understands that Quinn, 35, was granted a week-long emergency protective order against her partner – who was later arrested for a second time in violation of the order when he appeared at their home.

Dumontet is now said to be seeking a restraining order against Quinn, asking for her to move out of their home and stay 100 yards away from the property.

In paperwork obtained by People Magazine, he reportedly refuted accusations that he was violent, and said that their argument stemmed from a situation with the real estate agent’s dogs.

He claimed that she ‘refuses’ to have two dogs trained, and that he is ‘the only one cleaning up after the dogs, so much so that operating and cleaning the remote vacuum cleaner has become a bonding activity between himself and three-year-old Christian.’

Regarding the incident on March 19, he alleged that Quinn refused to clean up after the dogs, leading to an argument.

‘At that point Mr Dumontet grabbed the trash bag from the floor and threw it to the side of the room, against the wall,’ the documents reportedly state.

‘Mr Dumontet did not throw the bag towards Ms Quinn, or their son. Additionally, there was no glass in the bag, as there was no broken glass in the room or anywhere in the house.’

The outlet reports that he also denied that there have ever been ‘incidents of domestic violence’ in the relationship, alleging that Quinn filed an emergency protection order using ‘false allegations of domestic violence’.

Dumontet is thought to be asking for the Netflix star’s travel with their son to be restricted to LA County, over concerns she could ‘abduct’ him.

He alleged that she ‘has a history of threatening to take away or hide our children from me’, and refusing to ‘co-operate’ with him in parenting.

Metro.co.uk understands that police were called to their LA home on last Tuesday afternoon amid a domestic dispute and took Dumontet into custody.

In pictures obtained by PageSix, he was seen in handcuffs and being escorted off the property by two police officers, while barefoot in a dressing gown.

The publication reports that he was allegedly booked was booked on assault with a deadly weapon, and held on $30,000 bail.

He was then arrested for a second time on Wednesday night for a misdemeanor charge, after he appeared at their family house in violation of the order.

They got married in December of that year, after a whirlwind romance, with their lavish big day playing out on Selling Sunset.

They went on to welcome their first child together in 2021, shortly before Quinn left the series for good.
