Chelsea has bowed out (Picture: Amazon Freevee)

Neighbours star Viva Bianca has confirmed her exit from the Amazon Freevee soap.

Viva joined the iconic Australian soap in January as Chelsea Murphy, the sister of established character Cara Varga-Murphy (Sara West).

It wasn’t long before she set her sights on wealthy businessman Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), and he allowed her to stock her perfume range in the Lassiter’s hotel rooms.

We then saw her practicing a ‘Chelsea Robinson’ signature, and it became clear she wanted to fast-track her way to becoming wife no. 7!

Eventually becoming the acting manager of the complex, she continued to drive a wedge between Paul and his ex-wife Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), and deliberately disposed of the memorial plaque for her son Josh (Harley Bonner) that was on display in the reception.

In a further cruel act, she saw Krista Sinclair’s (Majella Davis) role as executive consultant as another hurdle to jump over, and decided to ruin her chances of impressing big boss Lucy Robinson (Melissa Bell).

Chelsea had a vendetta against Krista (Picture: Amazon Freevee)

On the day of an important meeting, Chelsea purposefully locked Krista in the sauna room, which caused her to miscarry her baby Hope.

But the tragic event was just the beginning of her spiteful plan to bring her down.

Knowing she was a former drug addict, and realising how vulnerable she was, Chelsea planted pills in the office for Krista to ‘stumble upon’.

In a bid to stop her vile decisions being exposed, she cosied up with software specialist Jeffrey Swan (Tim Potter), who was investigating the sauna door incident.

Last week, Krista had a sudden realisation of what was going on and decided to approach Chelsea, but following a scuffle between the two women, Krista fell, hit her head and forgot everything.

Luckily, the memories came flooding back and in yesterday’s (9th May) instalment, the truth was exposed at Chelsea and Paul’s engagement party.

Krista, alongside Jeffrey, revealed exactly what she was capable of.

Back at the hotel room, Cara tried to talk some sense into her sister but asserted that no matter where she ran off to, her past would still haunt her.

Chelsea packed her bags, slipped a pregnancy test into her handbag, and left for pastures new.

Could a new baby Robinson appear during next year’s 40th anniversary celebrations?

Actress Viva has now confirmed that this is the last we’ll see of Chelsea (at least for now!)

Taking to Instagram, she told her 73,000 followers: ‘Working on this episode brought with it a melting pot of feels. Chelsea’s brisk and giddy rise and then thundering fall, 2 handers with some of my fave Neighbours scene partners -Stefan Dennis, Sara West and Majella Davis – and collaborating with powerhouse directors Kate Kendall and Lara Köse (thank you for helping me get there and for holding space for Chelsea’s big moments)

‘A shout out to Rikki Norman + Alex Long (and the entire hair and makeup team!!) for my glam in this ep and for taking particularly good care of me on engagement day and to Nick Wakerley and the entire costume/wardrobe department for leaving no bling stone unturned.’
