“Made for devices with space constraints, the Gaming X Slim 16G doesn’t pull its punches. Equipped with DLSS 3, the Nvidia graphics card is a value powerhouse.”

Nvidia had us worried earlier this week, blaming supply issues for impending graphics card price increases. GeForce RTX 4060 Ti was even highlighted as a primary concern, being the first of three models affected. Fortunately, inflation hasn’t taken hold just yet. In fact, there are a good few deals that see graphics card prices come crashing down to their cheapest ever. It might even be your last chance to grab an upgrade that won’t make your bank account weep.

Over on Amazon US, MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X Slim 16G is currently at its best price ever, falling to $469.99. Better yet, you have the choice between the standard black version and the white one. This deal is exclusive to North America right now. Only Amazon Italy comes close, with 13% off the 8GB model and 9% off the dual-fan 16GB variant.

RTX 4060 Ti is a slightly confusing graphics card because it comes in two flavours under the same name. There’s the superior 16GB model, which this deal spotlights, and its inferior little brother, which has half the video memory. Some games struggle with anything less than 8GB VRAM and outright prevent you from using certain settings. Far Cry 6, for example, won’t let you use HD textures. That’s partly why our MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X Trio review only awards three stars.

Thankfully, memory isn’t an issue here, as 16GB GDDR6 is enough for the latest titles and should last you years. Even though this is the Slim model that’s far thinner than its brethren, it still packs a 2,685MHz boost frequency. It’s fair to say that this is more of a midrange graphics card than a budget one. The trio of Torx Fan 5.0 blowers should keep the GPU cool enough to remain in the game. It even comes bundled with a support bracket to keep your card from bending.

My favourite thing about this card is DLSS 3. Exclusive to RTX 4000 Series graphics cards, it’s quite simply the best upscaler on the market right now. It’s not available in every game, but it’s practically free performance when it is. Leveraging AI models, DLSS 3 renders your game at a lower resolution before reconstructing it to the detail you want. Frame Generation also slots in extra fps like a sandwich filler. The end result is a game that sometimes looks better than native with a much, much higher frame rate.

The best part about this deal is that it’s on Amazon. Firstly, this means you can get it with next-day delivery using a Prime subscription. You can also try the device out without strings attached. Since the retailer features a 30-day return window, you can simply send it back in the first month for a refund if you’re not happy.

As usual, this is just the latest in many deals that we hunt down. If you want to see more tech discounts, you can bookmark our deals page, follow us on X or Facebook, and subscribe to our free weekly newsletter.
