Jim Parsons teams up with Iain Armitage for a fun Young Sheldon social media post ahead of the series finale. Despite being the narrator and executive producer of Young Sheldon, Parsons never made an appearance in the show. However, that’s all about to change in the Young Sheldon series finale, which is confirmed to physically feature Parsons as adult Sheldon for the first time. The actor has already filmed his scenes, and it’s being used to promote the upcoming end of Young Sheldon.

Adult Sheldon Is Coming To Young Sheldon.

Specific plot details about the special one-hour Young Sheldon finale are still scant at the moment. That being said, Parsons will be joined by Mayim Bialik as Amy Farrah-Fowler; it will also be her first time appearing in The Big Bang Theory spinoff after making a couple of voice cameos over the years. Their involvement will likely be via a flashforward scene, which will explain why Sheldon has been recounting the events of his childhood. For a while, Young Sheldon season 7 has been sidelining Sheldon, which was a switch from his final arc in The Big Bang Theory. It’s curious if adult Sheldon’s narration will eventually be a lead-in to Parsons’ eventual appearance, or Young Sheldon will simply end with a shot of him with his family with Amy in Pasadena.
