Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction was just overturned by New York state’s highest court.

The appeal found that the judge at the original trial was ‘prejudiced’ and therefore made ‘improper rulings,’ including a decision to allow testimony about allegations that weren’t part of the case.

Weinstein, 72, has been serving a 23-year sentence in a New York prison following his conviction on charges of criminal sex act.
