Another Stephen King adaptation is finally moving forward as The Running Man has cast its first star.
During the Paramount Pictures CinemaCon panel, of which Screen Rant was in attendance, the studio announced that Glen Powell will be the leading star of the new Running Man adaptation. The second screen iteration of the Stephen King novel is being co-written and directed by Edgar Wright alongside 21 Jump Street‘s Michael Bacall. At the time of writing, no filming start date has been confirmed for the movie.
