Kai Havertz has brutally insisted that there is not even one of his former Chelsea teammates that he’d want to see join Arsenal’s current squad.

The Germany international ended a three-year stint with the Blues in June 2023, moving across London to join Premier League title challengers Arsenal.

Havertz was part of a Chelsea team that tasted Champions League glory in 2021 and his former teammates include the likes of Reece James and Antonio Rudiger.

The 24-year-old has snubbed the Chelsea captain and the Real Madrid star, though, as well as all of his other former teammates in a new interview.

Havertz, who has been widely praised this season for his performances, has conjured up 12 goals and six assists across 35 top-flight games this term.

He recently sat down with Chinese streaming service iQIYI and was asked to pick out which of his former teammates he would like to see move to Arsenal.

‘I don’t even know, I think we have everyone here,’ Havertz said. ‘I’m happy with the squad.’

Quizzed specifically if he would want Arsenal to sign Joao Felix, Havertz added: ‘He’s an amazing player, a quality player for sure. But yeah, I have to say that I’m happy with the squad.’

Havertz impressed for Arsenal in their last match as they secured a 3-0 win over AFC Bournemouth, with the German cleverly winning his side a first-half penalty.

Speaking after the match, Havertz lauded Arsenal star Bukayo Saka – and made a huge claim over the winger – suggesting he rates the Englishman higher than anyone he played with at Chelsea.

‘He’s unbelievable and shows it every week,’ Havertz said about his Arsenal teammate Saka.

‘I think he’s 21 or 22 and I’ve never seen a player like this.

‘England are very lucky. He’s hungry every day and if you see him in training he’s special.’
